The Implementing Measures are amended as follows:
(1)
Article 28 is amended as follows:
(a)
paragraph 1 is replaced by the following:
‘1. Members who, under Rule 182 of Parliament’s Rules of Procedure, have been excluded from the Chamber shall forfeit, for the duration of their exclusion, their entitlement to the subsistence allowance provided for in Article 24 of these Implementing Measures.’

(b)
paragraph 2 is replaced by the following:
‘2. Members shall forfeit their entitlement to the subsistence allowance provided for in Article 24 of these Implementing Measures where the President of Parliament so decides under Rule 183 of Parliament’s Rules of Procedure.’

In Article 29, paragraph 4 is replaced by the following:
‘4. The maximum monthly amount defrayable in respect of all the personal staff referred to in Article 30 shall be EUR 29 557 with effect from 1 January 2024.’
