Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/1323 of 16 May 2024 amending Regulation (EU) 2023/2820 providing for emergency financial support for the agricultural sectors affected by natural disasters in Greece and Slovenia, as regards eligibility of payments

Article 1

In Article 1 of Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/2820, paragraph 5 is replaced by the following:

‘5.   The expenditure borne by Greece and Slovenia referred to in paragraph 1 in relation to the payments for the measures referred to in paragraph 2 shall only be eligible for Union aid if those payments are made by 31 May 2024.

Article 38(1) of Regulation (EU) 2021/2116 of the European Parliament and of the Council  ( *1 ) shall apply to these payments.

Article 2

This Regulation shall enter into force on the day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union .
