Article 1

Mr Duarte Nuno Nunes de Freitas, representative of a regional body who holds a regional authority electoral mandate, Secretário Regional das Finanças do Governo Regional da Madeira (Regional Secretary of Finance of the Regional Government of Madeira), is hereby appointed as an alternate member of the Committee of the Regions for the remainder of the current term of office, which runs until 25 January 2030.

Article 2

This Decision shall enter into force on the date of its adoption.
