The position to be taken on the Unionβs behalf at the meeting of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe in September 2025, shall be to support the extension of the deadline for the accession of Kazakhstan to the Council of Europe Convention on preventing and combating violence against women and domestic violence until 23Β April 2027.
The position referred to in ArticleΒ 1 shall be expressed by the Member States that are members of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe, acting jointly.
This Decision shall enter into force on the date of its adoption.
