Article 1

For the purposes of Article 30(2) of Regulation (EU) 2016/1011, the legal and supervisory framework of New Zealand applicable to financial benchmarks whose administrator has been licensed by the Financial Markets Authority in New Zealand in accordance with the Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013 shall be considered to be equivalent to the requirements laid down in Regulation (EU) 2016/1011 and to be subject to effective supervision and enforcement on an ongoing basis.

Article 2

This Decision shall enter into force on the third day following day of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union .
