Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2025/2424 of 25 November 2025 amending Implementing Decision (EU) 2025/1582 concerning certain emergency measures relating to infection with lumpy skin disease virus in Italy (notified under document C(2025) 8160)

Article 1

Implementing Decision (EU) 2025/1582 is amended as follows:
1.
Articles 1 and 2 are replaced by the following:
‘Article 1
Italy shall establish:
(a)
restricted zones, which comprise protection and surveillance zones, in accordance with Article 21 of Delegated Regulation (EU) 2020/687, and under the conditions laid down in that Article; those protection and surveillance zones shall comprise at least the areas listed in Annex I to this Decision, and the measures required to be applied in such protection and surveillance zones shall be applied at least until the dates listed in that Annex;
(b)
vaccination zones, in accordance with Part 1 of Annex IX to Delegated Regulation (EU) 2023/361, and under the conditions laid down in that Annex; those vaccination zones shall comprise at least the areas listed in Annex II to this Decision, and the measures required to be applied in such vaccination zones shall be applied at least until the dates listed in that Annex.
Article 2
Italy shall prohibit movements of bovine animals from the protection and surveillance zones listed in Annex I to a destination located outside the external perimeter of those zones in Italy or outside that Member State until the dates listed in that Annex.’

3.
The Annexes are amended in accordance with the Annex to this Decision.

Article 2

This Decision is addressed to the Italian Republic.
