Council Decision (EU) 2026/1411 of 22 June 2026 on the position to be taken on behalf of the European Union within the World Forum for Harmonization of Vehicle Regulations of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe concerning the June 2026 proposals for UN regulations

The Union shall vote in favour of the UN working documents listed in the Annex to this Decision within the 199th session of the UNECE World Forum for Harmonization of Vehicle Regulations (WP.29). In the event that the question of the election of a second vice-chair of WP.29 arises at the 199th session, the Union position shall be to confirm the outcome of the vote at the 198th session in March 2026, namely to postpone the election until the last session of WP.29 in 2026.
Minor technical changes to the position set out in Article 1 may be agreed upon without a further decision of the Council.
This Decision shall enter into force on the date of its adoption.
