Council Decision (CFSP) 2026/1804 of 16 July 2026 amending Decision 2014/512/CFSP concerning restrictive measures in view of Russia’s actions destabilising the situation in Ukraine

Article 1

In Article 4p of Decision 2014/512/CFSP, the following paragraph is added: ‘13. The application of the procedure to amend the price cap set out in paragraph 12 of this Article, including the calculation of the average market price of Russian crude oil over a period of 22 weeks, the publication of a notice of that average market price and the amendment of Annex XXVIII to Regulation (EU) No 833/2014, shall be postponed so that the publication by the Commission of a notice of that average market price referring to the period of 22 weeks from 15 January to 17 June 2026 shall take place on 23 July 2026 and the amendment of Annex XXVIII to Regulation (EU) No 833/2014 shall apply from 15 August 2026. The current price cap shall continue to apply until the date of application of the new price cap.’.

Article 2

This Decision shall enter into force on the day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union .
