For the general budget of the Union for the financial year 2026, the European Union Solidarity Fund shall be mobilised as follows in commitment and payment appropriations in relation to natural disasters: (a) the amount of EUR 14 339 675 shall be provided to Romania following the floods at the end of May and the beginning of June 2025; (b) the amount of EUR 9 209 223 shall be provided to Cyprus following the wildfires in July 2025; (c) the amount of EUR 120 550 858 shall be provided to Spain following the wildfires in August 2025.

This Decision shall enter into force on the day of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union . It shall apply from 8 July 2026.
