Article 1
Open ↗Decision (CFSP) 2022/2245 is amended as follows: (1) in Article 1, paragraphs 4 and 5 are replaced by the following: ‘4. Upon full completion of the training or when EUMAM Ukraine is terminated, the custody of the ammunition, military equipment, and platforms, designed to deliver lethal force which were provided under the Assistance Measure shall be transferred to the beneficiary. Based on the needs of Ukraine, ammunition, military equipment, and platforms, designed to deliver lethal force, may be transferred to the beneficiary once they have been used in each training module. 5. The duration of the Assistance Measure shall be 80 months from the adoption of this Decision.’ ; (2) in Article 2, (a) paragraph 1 is replaced by the following: ‘1. The financial reference amount intended to cover the expenditure related to the Assistance Measure shall be EUR 400 000 000.’ ; (b) paragraph 3 is replaced by the following: ‘3. In accordance with Article 29(5) of Decision (CFSP) 2021/509, the administrator for operations may call for contributions following the adoption of this Decision, up to EUR 400 000 000. The funds called by the administrator for operations shall only be used to pay expenditure within the limits approved by the Committee established by Decision (CFSP) 2021/509 in the related budget corresponding to the Assistance Measure.’.
