Amendments to Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/404

Article 1

Annex IV to Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/404 is amended in accordance with Part I of the Annex to this Regulation.

Corrections to Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/404

Article 2

Annexes XIII and XVIII to Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/404 are corrected in accordance with Part II of the Annex to this Regulation.

Entry into force

Article 3

This Regulation shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union .

ANNEXSupplementary provisions

ANNEX PART I Amendments to Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/404 Annex IV to Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/404 is amended as follows: (1) Part 1 is amended as follows: (a) the entry for Argentina is replaced by the following: ‘ AR Argentina AR-0 D Registered horses; registered equidae; other equine animals not for slaughter; equine animals for slaughter EQUI-X, EQUI-Y, EQUI-RE-ENTRY-30, EQUI-RE-ENTRY-90-COMP Surra-programme’;       (b) the entry for Thailand is replaced by the following: ‘ TH Thailand TH-0 E Registered horses EQUI-X, EQUI-RE-ENTRY-30, EQUI-RE-ENTRY-90-COMP Surra-programme   6.4.2020 9.6.2025’; (2) in Part 3, the following entry is added after the entry AHS-ZA: ‘Surra-programme The surveillance programme for surra ( Trypanosoma evansi ) has been recognised by the Commission and is carried out in a third country or territory, or zone thereof to demonstrate the absence of infection in the establishment of origin of the equine animals during the period of 6 months prior to the date of dispatch to the Union, in accordance with Part B of Annex IV to Delegated Regulation (EU) 2020/692.’. PART II Corrections to Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/404 Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/404 is corrected as follows: (1) in Annex XIII, in Part 1, the entry for Paraguay is replaced by the following: ‘ PY Paraguay PY-0 Bovine animals BOV Maturation, pH and de-boning No offal     17.4.2015’; (2) Annex XVIII is corrected as follows: (a) in Part 1, the entry for United Arab Emirates is replaced by the following: ‘ AE United Arab Emirates AE-1 Camelid animals DAIRY-PRODUCTS-ST’;   (b) Part 2 is replaced by the following: ‘PART 2 Descriptions of zones of third countries or territories referred to in column 2 of the table set out in Part 1 Name of the third country or territory Code of the zone Description of the zone United Arab Emirates AE-1 The Emirates of Abu Dhabi and Dubai’.
