Amendments to Regulation (EU) 2021/2325
Regulation (EU) 2021/2325 is amended as follows:
(1)
the title is replaced by the following:
‘Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/2325 of 16 December 2021 establishing, pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2018/848 of the European Parliament and of the Council, the list of third countries that have been recognised under Article 33(2) of Council Regulation (EC) No 834/2007 for the purpose of importing organic products into the Union’;
(2)
Article 2 is deleted;
(3)
Article 3 is amended as follows:
(a)
the third paragraph is replaced by the following:
‘Article 1 shall apply until the expiry date of the recognition as set in Article 48(1), second subparagraph, of Regulation (EU) 2018/848’;
(b)
the fourth paragraph is deleted;
(4)
Annex I is replaced by the text in the Annex to this Regulation.
Entry into force
This Regulation shall enter into force on the third day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union .

ANNEX I
LIST OF RECOGNISED THIRD COUNTRIES REFERRED TO IN ARTICLE 1 AND THE RELEVANT SPECIFICATIONS
For the purposes of this Annex, the categories of products are designated by the following codes:
A:
Unprocessed plant products
B:
Live animals or unprocessed animal products ( 1 )
C:
Unprocessed aquaculture products and algae
D:
Processed agricultural products for use as food ( 1 )
( 2 )
E:
Processed agricultural products for use as feed ( 2 )
F:
Vegetative propagating material and seeds for cultivation
( 1 ) Pursuant to Article 17(1), point (f), of Regulation (EC) No 834/2007, animals and animal products produced during the conversion period shall not be marketed in the Union with the indications referred to in Articles 23 and 24 of that Regulation used in the labelling and advertising of products. Such products are therefore also excluded from the recognitions as regards product categories B and D for all third countries listed in this Annex.
( 2 ) Ingredients have to be certified by a control authority or control body recognised in accordance with Article 33(3) of Regulation (EC) No 834/2007 or produced and certified within the scope of a third country recognised in accordance with Article 33(2) of that Regulation or produced and certified in the Union in accordance with that Regulation.
