Article 1

A Union authorisation with authorisation number EU-0035833-0000 is granted to European Registration Office B.V. for the making available on the market and use of the single biocidal product ‘ERO MN’ in accordance with the summary of the biocidal product characteristics set out in the Annex. The Union authorisation is valid from 29 September 2026 until 31 August 2030.

Article 2

This Regulation shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union .

For bacteria, yeasts and viruses: dilute the product to 0,6 % v/v. To prepare a 0,6 % product dilution, dilute 6 ml of the disinfectant product in 1L of water. Spraying: Pour the diluted product into the reservoir of a spraying device. Be sure to completely wet the surfaces by spraying the product onto the surface to be disinfected (150 ml/m 2 ) at 10°C minimum. Keep the surfaces wet throughout the contact time. The stables are thoroughly cleaned before disinfection. The application is done by coarse spraying. After the contact time, the operator will rinse the treated surfaces. 4.1.2.    Use-specific risk mitigation measures Without prejudice to the application by employers of Council Directive 98/24/EC and other Union legislation in the area of health and safety at work, the following risk mitigation measures shall be applied: — The product is strictly intended for professional use in a professional environment, therefore non-professionals and the general public are not present in areas that must be disinfected using this product. — Manual or semi-automatic mixing & loading is not granted due to the corrosivity effect of the mixture. The process of dilution has to be carried out using an automatic dosing system (N-182). — Wear protective chemical resistant gloves meeting the requirements of European Standard EN ISO 374 or equivalent (glove material to be specified by the authorisation holder within the product information) during mixing & loading. Make sure that new gloves are changed at the beginning of each workday. — Wear eye and face protection meeting the requirements of European standard EN 16321 or equivalent during mixing & loading. — Wear respiratory protective equipment (RPE) protecting against gases and particles with an assigned protection factor of at least 20. At least a powered air purifying respirator with helmet/hood/mask (TH1/TM1), or a half/full mask with gas filter is required (filter type (code letter, colour) and the EN standards concerning the [device/devices/filter type/device and filter type/devices and filter type] to be specified by the authorisation holder within the product information according to the national regulations) during mixing & loading, application, and post-application phase (including rinsing step). — Use an impermeable coverall during mixing & loading and spraying application. The product is authorized for disinfection of livestock transport systems outside the building only. 4.2.2.    Use-specific risk mitigation measures Without prejudice to the application by employers of Council Directive 98/24/EC and other Union legislation in the area of health and safety at work, the following risk mitigation measures shall be applied: — Manual or semi-automatic mixing & loading is not granted due to the corrosivity effect of the mixture. The product should be used with care and in accordance with the instructions for use, in order to limit the development of resistance. — If the product is not used according to the label, resistance of the target organism(s) toward the active substance might occur. — Alternate products containing active substances with a different mode of action. — Avoid continuous use of the product. — Do not discharge unused product on the ground, into water courses, into pipes (sink, toilets, ...) nor down the drains. 5.2.    Risk mitigation measures See use-specific instructions for use. 5.3.    Particulars of likely direct or indirect effects, first aid instructions and emergency measures to protect the environment IF SWALLOWED: Immediately rinse mouth. Give something to drink, if exposed person is able to swallow. Do NOT induce vomiting. Call 112/ambulance for medical assistance. IF ON SKIN: Immediately wash skin with plenty of water. Thereafter take off all contaminated clothing and wash it before reuse. Continue to wash the skin with water for 15 minutes. Call a POISON CENTER or a doctor. IF IN EYES: Immediately rinse with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing for at least 15 minutes. Call 112/ambulance for medical assistance. Information to Healthcare personnel/doctor: The eyes should also be rinsed repeatedly on the way to the doctor in case of eye exposure to alkaline chemicals (pH>11), amines and acids like acetic acid, formic acid or propionic acid. IF INHALED: Move to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing. If symptoms occur: Call 112/ambulance for medical assistance. If no symptoms occur: Call a POISON CENTRE or a doctor. Information to Healthcare personnel/doctor: Initiate life support measures if needed, thereafter call a POISON CENTRE. Emergency measures to protect the environment : Do not allow to flow into sewers or open water. Contain released substance, store into suitable containers. If possible remove by using absorbent material. 5.4.    Instructions for safe disposal of the product and its packaging Disposal should be in accordance with local authority regulations. 5.5.    Conditions of storage and shelf-life of the product under normal conditions of storage Protect from direct sunlight. Shelf-life: 22 months 6.    OTHER INFORMATION With respect to the “Category(ies) of user(s)” note: Professionals (including industrial users) means trained professionals if this is required by national legislation. Please be aware of the European reference value of 0,0106 mg/m 3 (long-term) and 0,5 mg/m 3 (short-term) of the active substance glutaraldehyde (CAS No.: 111-30-8) which were used for the risk assessment for the biocidal product family (please be aware that relevant lower national limit values may apply).
