Article 34
A staff member who is recalled to serve in the armed forces shall be placed on leave with full remuneration, for a period equal to the length of time worked by him, up to a maximum of three months. At the end of this period he shall, for the remainder of his service in the armed forces and up to a maximum of half the length of time worked by him, receive compensation equal to one-third of his basic salary. At the end of this further period he shall be placed on unpaid leave. However, the payments provided for in the preceding paragraph shall be reduced by the amount of service pay received by the person concerned during the relevant period.
