Community assistance shall be subject to observance of the following requirements. Any creation of revenue arising directly from the project shall be notified to the Commission. A full hydrological survey of the Evinos karst system and a study on integrated management of the area's water resources for supply purposes, of Athens in particular, shall be assigned and completed. Due account shall be taken of their findings in execution of the project. The flow in the channel of the Mornos and in the conduits to Athens shall be monitored and a proposal for contingency measures prepared. A regulatory channel shall be installed alongside the channel of the Evinos so that a minimum flow of 1 m³/sec is secured throughout the year and without fail in the summer months. A monitoring programme for the quality of the water in the channel of the Evinos shall be implemented as is at present being done for the channel of the Mornos.
