Article 108
Budget 1. Estimates of all the Office's revenue and expenditure shall be prepared for each financial year and shall be shown in the Office's budget, and each financial year shall correspond with the calendar year. 2. The revenue and expenditure shown in the budget shall be in balance. 3. Revenue shall comprise, without prejudice to other types of income, total fees payable pursuant to Article 83 under the fees regulations referred to in Article 113, and, to the extent necessary, a subsidy from the general budget of the European Communities. 4. Expenditure shall comprise, without prejudice to other types of expenditure, the fixed costs of the Office and the costs arising from the Office's normal functioning, including sums payable to the Examination Offices.
