Article 1

1. This Decision shall apply to satellite earth station equipment falling within the scope of the harmonised standard referred to in Article 2(1). 2. This Decision establishes a common technical Regulation covering Satellite Personal Communications Networks (S-PCN), Mobile Earth Stations (MESs), including handheld earth stations, for S-PCN operating in the 2,0 GHz frequency bands under the Mobile Satellite Service (MSS).
