Article 2

1. The officers referred to in the provision of Article 40(4) of the 1990 Convention as regards the United Kingdom shall be officers from police forces in the United Kingdom and officers of Her Majesty's Customs and Excise. 2. The authority referred to in the provision of Article 40(5) of the 1990 Convention as regards the United Kingdom shall be the National Criminal Intelligence Service.
