Article 1

The concentration notified by Sanitec Ltd Oyj Abp on 1 July 1999, relating to the public offer for all outstanding ordinary shares not held by the Stichting Administratiekantoor Aandelen NV Koninklijke Sphinx Gustavsberg and all the depositary receipts of ordinary shares in NV Koninklijke Sphinx Gustavsberg, is declared compatible with the common market and the functioning of the EEA Agreement, subject to the condition of full compliance with the commitments given by Sanitec to the Commission, as set out in Section VII of this Decision.
