Article 3

1. The Chairman of the Committee (hereinafter the Chairman) shall be appointed by the Council on the recommendation of the Committee meeting at the level of the Chiefs of Defence. 2. The term of office of the Chairman is three years, unless the Council decides otherwise. His mission and functions are also defined in the above mentioned annex.
