Article 1

The State aid which Italy is planning to implement for Lucchini SpA, amounting to ITL 13,5 billion (EUR 6,98 million) and for Siderpotenza SpA amounting to ITL 203,2 million (EUR 104944) is incompatible with the common market. The aid may accordingly not be implemented.
