Article 3
This Regulation shall enter into force on the day following its publication in the Official Journal of the European Communities. It shall apply from 1 July 2001. However, the provisions of Annex III, Chapter A, section II, to Regulation (EC) No 999/2001, as set out in Annex I to this Regulation, shall apply from 1 January 2002. The provisions of Annex III to Regulation (EC) No 999/2001, as set out in Annex I to this Regulation, shall be reviewed in the light of the results obtained during the first six months of the monitoring. This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States. Done at Brussels, 22 June 2001.
