Article 1

1. The Community shall contribute to the Global Fund to fight HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria, EUR 60 million for 2001. 2. The contribution to the Global Fund will be made by means of a financing agreement to be concluded between the Commission and the Trustee of the Global Fund. 3. The contribution will be administered following the rules and procedures to be established for the Global Fund, agreed with the Commission and to be annexed to the financing agreement.
