2002/742/EC: Commission Decision of 5 December 2001… Article 1

Archer Daniels Midland Company Inc., Cerestar Bioproducts BV, F. Hoffmann-La Roche AG, Haarmann & Reimer Corporation and Jungbunzlauer AG have infringed Article 81(1) of the Treaty and Article 53(1) of the EEA Agreement by participating in a continuing agreement and/or concerted practice in the sector of citric acid. The duration of the infringement was as follows: - in the case of Archer Daniels Midland Company Inc., F. Hoffmann-La Roche AG, Haarmann & Reimer Corporation and Jungbunzlauer AG: from March 1991 until May 1995, - in the case of Cerestar Bioproducts BV: from May 1992 until May 1995.
