Tasks of the crisis unit 1. The crisis unit shall be responsible for collecting and evaluating all relevant information and identifying the options available to prevent, eliminate or reduce to an acceptable level the risk to human health as effectively and rapidly as possible. 2. The crisis unit may request the assistance of any public or private person whose expertise it deems necessary to manage the crisis effectively. 3. The crisis unit shall keep the public informed of the risks involved and the measures taken. CHAPTER V PROCEDURES AND FINAL PROVISIONS SECTION 1 COMMITTEE AND MEDIATION PROCEDURES
