Article 2
1. The President of the Council is hereby authorised to designate the person or persons empowered to deposit the instrument of approval on behalf of the Community with the Secretary-General of the United Nations, in accordance with Article 25(1) of the Convention. 2. The person or persons empowered to deposit the instrument of approval shall at the same time deposit the declaration of competence set out in Annex B to this Decision, as required by Article 25(3) of the Convention.
