Article 17
1. For the purely technical adjustments to the individual Directives provided for in Article 16(1) to take account of: - the adoption of Directives in the field of technical harmonisation and standardisation, and/or - technical progress, changes in international regulations or specifications, and new findings, the Commission shall be assisted by a committee. 2. Articles 5 and 7 of Decision 1999/468/EC(42) shall apply, having regard to the provisions of Article 8 thereof. The period laid down in Article 5(6) of Decision 1999/468/EC shall be set at three months. 3.
