Article 1

Definitions These Rules of Procedure shall supplement the Treaty establishing the European Community and the Statute of the European System of Central Banks and of the European Central Bank. The terms in these Rules of Procedure shall have the same meaning as in the Treaty and the Statute. The term "Eurosystem" shall mean the European Central Bank (ECB) and the national central banks of those Member States whose currency is the euro. CHAPTER I THE GOVERNING COUNCIL
