Authorisation
Article 2
1. For agricultural plant species covered by Directives 66/401/EEC, 66/402/EEC, 2002/54/EC, 2002/56/EC and 2002/57/EC, Member States may authorise producers established in their own territory to place on the market seed belonging to a variety for which an application for entry in the national catalogue of varieties of agricultural plant species (the national catalogue) has been submitted to the Member State in question, subject to compliance with Articles 3 to 18 of this Decision. 2. Member States shall ensure that when an authorisation has been granted in accordance with this Decision, the authorisation holder shall comply with any condition or restriction attached to such authorisation.
