Specific measures
Article 8
1. The Commission, acting in accordance with the procedure referred to in Article 22(3), may take any appropriate measure to implement the provisions relating to the following points: (a) updating of the indicative list of safety components in Annex V referred to in point (c) in Article 2; (b) restriction of the placing on the market of machinery referred to in Article 9. 2. The Commission, acting in accordance with the procedure referred to in Article 22(2), may take any appropriate measure connected with the implementation and practical application of this Directive, including measures necessary to ensure cooperation of Member States with each other and with the Commission, as provided for in Article 19(1).
