Activities similar to tourist assistance

Article 197

Member States may make provision for assistance to persons who get into difficulties in circumstances other than those referred to in Article 2(2) subject to this Directive. Where a Member State makes such provision, it shall treat such activity as if it were classified under class 18 in Part A of Annex I. The second paragraph shall in no way affect the possibilities for classification laid down in Annex I for activities which obviously come under other classes.
