Submission and investigation of claims for pensions or supplementary allowances
Article 40
In order to receive a pension or supplementary allowance under the legislation of a Member State, the person concerned or his survivors residing in the territory of another Member State shall submit, where appropriate, a claim either to the competent institution or to the institution of the place of residence, which shall send it to the competent institution. The claim shall contain the information required under the legislation applied by the competent institution.
