Article 38

1. Return messages shall be issued to the EU fishing vessels for each transmission of fishing logbook, transhipment, prior notification and landing data. The return message shall contain an acknowledgement of receipt. 2. The master of an EU fishing vessel shall retain the return message until the end of the fishing trip.
