Definitions
Article 1
For the purposes of the present Implementing Decision the following definitions shall apply: (a) sampling of domestic animals : the procedure of collecting biological material from animals at the holding by or on behalf of the Competent Authority for laboratory testing; (b) sampling of poultry flocks : The collection of samples from the environment of a poultry flock performed by or on behalf of the Competent Authority in the framework of a programme for the control of certain zoonotic Salmonella ; (c) test : the procedure performed on a sample in a laboratory to detect, diagnose or evaluate disease agent presence or absence, disease process or the susceptibility to a specific disease agent; (d) tuberculin testing : The procedure of performing a tuberculin skin test as defined in Annex B point 2 to Council Directive 64/432/EEC ( 8 ) , in the framework of a bovine tuberculosis programme.
