Transposition
Article 3
1. Member States shall bring into force the laws, regulations and administrative provisions necessary to comply with this Directive by 18 January 2016. 2. Any Member State which on 17 January 2014 provides access to training as a midwife for route I under Article 40(2) of Directive 2005/36/EC after completion of at least the first 10 years of general school education, shall bring into force the laws, regulations and administrative provisions necessary to comply with the admission requirements of training as a midwife under point (a) of Article 40(2) of that Directive by 18 January 2020. 3. Member States shall forthwith communicate to the Commission the text of the measures referred to in paragraphs 1 and 2. 4. When Member States adopt the measures referred to in paragraphs 1 and 2, they shall contain a reference to this Directive or be accompanied by such a reference on the occasion of their official publication. The methods of making such reference shall be laid down by Member States. 5. Member States shall communicate to the Commission the text of the main measures of national law which they adopt in the field covered by this Directive.
