Article 78
1. By 31 December 2020, Member States shall inform the Commission of the application of the type-approval procedures laid down in this Regulation. 2. On the basis of the information supplied under paragraph 1, the Commission shall present a report to the European Parliament and the Council on the application of this Regulation by 31 December 2021. In particular, the report shall consider whether, on the basis of experience gained with the application of this Regulation, it would be appropriate to provide in Chapter X also for EU type-approval of small series. If it considers necessary, the Commission shall present a proposal to this effect.
