General rules concerning support programmes

Article 44

1. The available Union funds shall be allocated within the budgetary limits provided for in Annex VI. 2. Union support shall only be granted for eligible expenditure incurred after the submission of the relevant draft support programme. 3. Member States shall not contribute to the costs of measures financed by the Union under the support programmes.
