Entry into force and application

Article 9

This Regulation shall enter into force on the third day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union . It shall apply from 1 April 2015. It shall not apply to meat which has been lawfully placed on the Union market before 1 April 2015 until the stocks are exhausted. It shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States.
