Sugar sector production refund
Article 8
The production refund for the products of the sugar sector provided for in Article 129 of Regulation (EU) No 1308/2013 shall be fixed by the Commission by means of implementing acts based on: (a) the costs arising from the use of imported sugar that the industry would have to bear in the event of supply from the world market; and (b) the price of surplus sugar available on the Union market or, if there is no surplus sugar on that market, the reference threshold for sugar fixed in point (c) of Article 7(1) of Regulation (EU) No 1308/2013. Those implementing acts shall be adopted in accordance with the examination procedure referred to in Article 15(2) of this Regulation.
