Compliance with common marketing standards

Article 34

1. The products intended for human consumption for which common marketing standards are laid down may be made available on the Union market only in accordance with those standards. 2. All fishery products landed, including those that do not comply with common marketing standards, may be used for purposes other than direct human consumption, including fish meal, fish oil, pet food, food additives, pharmaceuticals or cosmetics.
