Budget
Article 10
1. All items of income and expenditure of the Institute shall be included in estimates to be drawn up for each financial year, which shall correspond to the calendar year, and shall be shown in the budget of the Institute, which shall include a list of the staff. 2. The income and expenditure shown in the budget of the Institute shall be in balance. 3. The income of the Institute shall consist of contributions from the Member States according to the gross national income (GNI) scale. Upon a proposal by the Director and after approval by the Board, additional contributions for specific projects relevant to the Institute’s mission and tasks as set out in Article 2 may be accepted from other sources, in particular from the Member States or from Union institutions.
