Article 2

The President of the Council shall designate the person(s) empowered to proceed, on behalf of the Union, to the deposit of the instrument of approval and the declaration of competence provided for in Article 17(3) of the Protocol, in order to express the consent of the Union to be bound by the Protocol ( 6 ) . The text of the declaration is attached to this Decision.
