Applicants

Article 12

1.   Any interested group of producers, or in exceptional cases a single producer, may lodge an application for protection of a geographical indication. Other interested parties may participate in the application for protection. 2.   Producers may lodge an application for protection only for aromatised wine products which they produce. 3.   In the case of a name designating a trans-border geographical area, a joint application for protection may be lodged.
