Scope

Article 2

This Regulation shall apply to vehicles of categories M 1 , M 2 , M 3 , N 1 , N 2 and N 3 , as defined in Annex II to Directive 2007/46/EC, and to replacement silencing systems and components thereof type-approved as separate technical units designed and constructed for vehicles of categories M 1 and N 1 .
