Definitions
Article 64
For the purposes of the technical specifications needed for the implementation of the control system and administrative penalties in relation to cross-compliance, the following definitions shall apply: (a) ‘specialised control bodies’ means the national competent control authorities, as referred to in Article 67 of this Regulation, responsible for ensuring compliance with the rules referred to in Article 93 of Regulation (EU) No 1306/2013; (b) ‘act’ means each of the individual Directives and Regulations listed in Annex II to Regulation (EU) No 1306/2013; (c) ‘year of the finding’ means the calendar year in which the administrative or on-the-spot check was carried out; (d) ‘areas of cross-compliance’ means any of the three different areas referred to in Article 93(1) of Regulation (EU) No 1306/2013 and the maintenance of permanent pasture as referred to in Article 93(3) of that Regulation.
