Indirect costs

Article 51

1.   Indirect costs may be calculated on a flat-rate of up to 7 % of eligible direct costs, excluding costs incurred in relation to the provision of infrastructure, provided that the rate is calculated on the basis of a fair, equitable and verifiable calculation method. 2.   As indirect costs for a project shall be considered those eligible costs which may not be identified as specific costs directly linked to the implementation of the project and may not be booked to it directly according to the conditions of eligibility as defined in Article 48. They may not include ineligible costs as referred to in Article 49 or costs already declared under another cost item or heading of the budget of the project.
