The Commission shall assess the need to set requirements on air leakage rates in the light of technological progress and present the results of this assessment to the Consultation Forum no later than 1 January 2017. The Commission shall review this Regulation in the light of technological progress and present the results of this review to the Consultation Forum no later than 1 January 2020. The review shall include an assessment of the following: (a) the possible extension of the scope of this Regulation to cover unidirectional units with an electric power input of less than 30 W, and bidirectional units, with a total electric power input for the fans of less than 30 W per air stream; (b) the verification tolerances set out in Annex VI; (c) the appropriateness of taking into account the effects of low-energy consuming filters on the energy efficiency; (d) the need to set a further tier with tightened ecodesign requirements.
