Investigatory powers
Article 2
1. In accordance with Article 11 of Regulation (EU) No 1024/2013, the ECB may exercise its investigatory powers in respect of the credit institutions identified in the Annex. 2. The ECB shall verify the information received from the credit institutions, including, where necessary, through on-site inspections, and shall be assisted by national competent authorities, where appropriate, with the involvement of third parties, in accordance with Articles 9 to 13 of Regulation (EU) No 1024/2013. The ECB may invite, whenever necessary, national competent authorities to appoint non-statutory auditors for the performance of the asset quality review as part of the comprehensive assessment.
