Article 3

The provisions of this Directive should be read in conjunction with those of Regulation (EC) No 765/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council ( 5 ) , in particular as regards the accreditation of conformity assessment bodies, and do not introduce any derogation or exception to the above Regulation.
