Scope

Article 2

1. This Regulation applies to the institutions referred to in Article 103(1) of Directive 2014/59/EU and defined in Article 2(1)(23). It also applies to a central body and its affiliated institutions on a consolidated basis, where the affiliated institutions are wholly or partially exempted from prudential requirements in national law in accordance with Article 10 of Regulation (EU) No 575/2013. 2. Any reference to a group should include a central body and all credit institutions permanently affiliated to the central body as referred to in Article 10 of Regulation (EU) No 575/2013 and their subsidiaries.
